Raum für künstlerische Entfaltung, Raum für technisches Wissen, Raum für Kritik, Raum für neue Ideen, Raum für alle. Ein Atelier- und Ausstellungsraum, in dem Wissen weitergegeben und gemeinsam praktiziert wird. Ein Raum als Arbeitsplatz und Bühne für gestaltende junge Fotograf:innen und interessierte Passant:innen. Ein Raum mit und über Kunst.

Wir – das kollektiv:raum – wollen Fotografie zugänglich machen, erforschen, diskutieren, praktizieren und präsentieren. Mit dem Vorhaben, einen offenen Ort der fotografischen Zusammenkunft zu schaffen, möchten wir im Sinne einer unterstützenden, künstlerischen Community agieren. Wir stehen für einen niederschwelligen, aber durch unser Wissen und unsere Praxis fundierten Zugang zu Kunst und Kultur, der sich zu einem breiten Publikum hin öffnet.

Paola Lesslhumer - Sorry you don't know

"Sorry you don't know" visualizes the stories of three women* who were filmed or photographed in their private lives without a consensual "yes" and in some cases also exposed by the publication of the image material.

Paola Lesslhumer talks to the women* and makes them co-authors. They describe, draw and depict the situations and feelings they have experienced with their bodies and Paola stages their descriptions photographically with representative models at possible crime scenes.

Together, they want to draw attention to the problem of "nonconsensual porn".

  • Paola Lesslhumer is constantly working on freelance projects in which she visualises mainly socio-critical ideas and aims to create a space for discussion. A space where people can learn from each other. These are topics that are of personal concern to her and that she would like more people to talk about. Paola has already tried to create this space with exhibitions and publications in Austria, Germany and Mexico. These are staged photos that offer access through aesthetics. She is increasingly including the medium of video and other artists in her projects.
