The Kunsthalle Graz is located in the Conrad-von-Hötzendorfstraße and extends its activities worldwide to the promotion, networking and discourse between creative artists, those interested in culture and public cultural institutions.
The Kunsthalle Graz functions as an exhibition and action platform for contemporary art of all genres by artists on a regional, national and international level. In addition, the association Kunsthalle Graz is dedicated to the development of a communication network between similar institutions and associations, also internationally.
Events such as exhibitions, participation in fairs, readings, performances, lectures, workshops and seminars are organized and, if necessary, publications are prepared. In this sense, the Kunsthalle Graz focuses on the presentation and mediation of works primarily by the younger generation of Styrian artists or artists associated with Styria.

Max Gansberger Installation im Raum, 2023
The “Part of the Game” exhibition series has been running since 2015. Once again, there are four artists who temporally overlap in their artistic discourse. The artists change at intervals of two weeks, so that the presentation of an artist lasts four weeks. One artist moves in, and after two weeks the works of the opposing artist are confronted. During the Galerientage Graz 2023, Kunsthalle Graz will show works by Nadine Nebel on the wall and Max Gansberger in the room.
