WERKSTADT GRAZ is founded outside the Internet founded nevertheless something like a virtual city. - In the meantime 'virtual city buildings' and media expeditions have been built and carried out by 150 international
artists and researchers. Since 1979, in addition to 'analog spaces' at Sporgasse 16, various networks also exist that can be accessed worldwide.

ANNIVERSARY! 30 YEARS OF WERKSTADT GRAZ AUDIENCE FLAG

"The audience flag sees itself as a tool + resource vehicle and offers the audience internal and external orientation aids. This applies above all to formal, structural and functional deviations from everyday normality. Prevailing deficits in cognitive, emotional and social abilities can thus be compensated for or outwardly and inwardly directed observations and thought processes can be stimulated. - Galerie WERKSTADT GRAZ sees itself as a distribution point for the public flags for the Gallery Days 2025. From May 16 - 18, 2025, we will set up the PUBLIC MONUMENT: “AUFRUF ZUM UNGEHORSAM” in the urban space of Graz.
